Composition

• Active Ingredients:
  • Amlodipine Besilate 5 mg (Calcium channel blocker)

Mechanism of Action

• Amlodipine Besilate inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation, reduced peripheral resistance, and lower blood pressure.
• Telmisartan selectively blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and decreasing aldosterone-mediated sodium and water retention.

Indications

Arbitel AM Tablet 5 mg+80 mg is indicated for:
