Avro Eye Drop 0.00% contains Travoprost, a prostaglandin analogue used primarily for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Travoprost works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby lowering intraocular pressure (IOP). Managing elevated IOP is essential to prevent optic nerve damage, preserve vision, and reduce the risk of glaucoma-related blindness.
Avro Eye Drop provides a convenient and effective once-daily topical therapy for patients requiring long-term IOP control. Its formulation is designed to be gentle on the eyes while delivering precise and consistent dosing.

Travoprost, the active ingredient in Avro Eye Drop, lowers intraocular pressure through the following mechanism:
Prostaglandin Receptor Activation: Travoprost selectively binds to prostaglandin F2α receptors in the eye.
Increases Uveoscleral Outflow: Enhances the drainage of aqueous humor through the uveoscleral pathway.
Reduces Intraocular Pressure: By facilitating fluid outflow, it lowers IOP, reducing stress on the optic nerve.
Through these mechanisms, Avro Eye Drop helps prevent optic nerve damage and preserves vision in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Avro Eye Drop 0.00% is indicated for:
Primary open-angle glaucoma: Reducing intraocular pressure to prevent optic nerve damage
Ocular hypertension: Managing elevated IOP to lower the risk of developing glaucoma
Patients who require long-term topical therapy for IOP control
This medication is suitable for adult patients and should be used under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.
