Dasanix Tablet 50 mg contains Dasatinib, a potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) used in the treatment of certain types of leukemia. It is primarily indicated for Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Dasatinib works by blocking abnormal proteins that promote the growth of cancer cells, thereby slowing or stopping disease progression.
This medication is typically used when patients are resistant or intolerant to prior therapies or as part of first-line treatment in specific cases.

Mechanism of Action
Dasatinib inhibits multiple tyrosine kinases, including BCR-ABL kinase, which is produced by the Philadelphia chromosome abnormality. By blocking this enzyme, Dasatinib prevents the proliferation of leukemic cells. It also inhibits SRC family kinases and other signaling pathways involved in cancer cell growth and survival.
