Dosage and Administration

• Adults: 4 mg to 8 mg administered intravenously or intramuscularly, as prescribed

• Children: Dose is weight-based and determined by a physician

• Inject slowly over 2–5 minutes for intravenous administration

• Can be given before, during, or after chemotherapy or surgery, depending on physician guidance

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with liver impairment, electrolyte imbalance, or cardiac conditions
