Filtear Mono Eye Drop is indicated for:

• Temporary relief of eye discomfort caused by wind, smoke, dust, or prolonged screen exposure

Pharmacology

• Polyethylene Glycol is a hydrophilic polymer that acts as a lubricant, forming a protective layer over the cornea and conjunctiva to prevent tear evaporation.

• Propylene Glycol is a humectant that attracts water, maintaining ocular hydration and enhancing tear film stability.

• Together, these agents restore the natural tear film, reduce friction during blinking, and protect the ocular surface from environmental stress.

Mode of Action

Filtear Mono Eye Drop works by:

• Replacing lost tears to maintain a stable tear film

• Reducing friction between the eyelid and cornea during blinking

• Hydrating and protecting the ocular surface from irritants and dryness

• Supporting the natural defense mechanism of the eye against oxidative and mechanical stress

Dosage & Administration

• Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed, up to 4–6 times daily.

• Can be used before exposure to dry or windy conditions or after prolonged screen use.

• Wash hands before applying the drops and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.

• Remove contact lenses prior to instillation; lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes after application unless otherwise directed.
