Fosfen Injection 150 mg/2 ml contains Fosphenytoin Sodium, a water-soluble prodrug of phenytoin used for the rapid control of seizures. Composition

Each 2 ml vial contains:

• Fosphenytoin Sodium 150 mg (equivalent to phenytoin activity)

Indications

Fosfen Injection is indicated for:

• Status epilepticus (emergency seizure control)
• Prevention and treatment of seizures in neurosurgical patients

Pharmacological Action

Fosphenytoin is a prodrug that works by:
