• Ear, nose, and throat infections: otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis

• Skin and soft tissue infections: cellulitis, abscesses, minor wounds

• Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria

• Lyme disease (early localized or disseminated)

• Other infections caused by cefuroxime-sensitive bacteria
