This leads to increased permeability of the fungal cell membrane, causing leakage of intracellular contents and ultimately resulting in fungal cell death. Indications

Micoral Oral Gel 2% w/w is indicated for:

• Oral candidiasis (oral thrush)
• Fungal infections of the mouth and throat
• Denture-related stomatitis
• Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients

Dosage and Administration

• Apply the gel to the affected area inside the mouth as directed by a physician
• Typically used 2–4 times daily after meals
• The gel should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible before swallowing
• Continue treatment for at least 7 days after symptoms disappear to prevent recurrence
