Indications

Neparact TS Suspension is indicated for:

• Post-operative eye inflammation and pain (especially after cataract surgery)
• Reduction of ocular pain and swelling
• Prevention and management of postoperative inflammation
• Other inflammatory eye conditions as advised by an ophthalmologist

Mechanism of Action

Nepafenac is a prodrug that penetrates the cornea and is converted into its active form, amfenac. It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which are responsible for prostaglandin production. Prostaglandins cause pain and inflammation; by reducing them, Nepafenac helps relieve ocular inflammation and discomfort.

Dosage and Administration
