Olopan 600 mcg/spray contains Olopatadine, a well-established antiallergic agent used in ophthalmology. It is specially formulated to relieve ocular symptoms associated with allergic conjunctivitis, particularly eye itching. Olopatadine works by targeting the allergic response at its source, offering effective and long-lasting symptom control with minimal systemic exposure when used as directed.

Olopan 600 mcg/spray is indicated for the treatment of:
Ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis
Ophthalmic Non-Steroid Drugs
Olopatadine acts as a dual-action antiallergic agent. It inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells and selectively antagonizes histamine H1 receptors. Through this mechanism, it suppresses both in vivo and in vitro type-1 immediate hypersensitivity reactions. Olopatadine also inhibits histamine-induced effects on human conjunctival epithelial cells.
Importantly, olopatadine shows no significant activity on alpha-adrenergic, dopaminergic, or muscarinic (type 1 and 2) receptors. After topical ocular administration, systemic absorption is minimal, reducing the likelihood of systemic side effects.
Dosage should be followed exactly as prescribed by a physician:
0.1% Sterile Eye Drops: One drop in each affected eye twice daily at intervals of 6–8 hours
0.2% Sterile Eye Drops: One drop in the affected eye once daily
0.7% Sterile Eye Drops: One drop in each affected eye once daily
Concomitant use with central nervous system depressants may result in additive CNS depression.

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Olopan 600 mcg/spray should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the possible risk to the fetus.
