Indications

Otholon Suspension is indicated for:

• Allergic conjunctivitis
• Non-infectious inflammatory eye conditions
• Post-operative eye inflammation
• Keratitis (non-infectious inflammatory conditions)
• Steroid-responsive ocular inflammation

Mechanism of Action

Fluorometholone is a corticosteroid that works by inhibiting inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It reduces capillary permeability, swelling, redness, and immune response in the eye, thereby relieving inflammation and discomfort.

Dosage and Administration

• Use only as prescribed by an ophthalmologist
• Shake well before use
• Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as directed
• Usually used 2–4 times daily depending on severity
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface
• Remove contact lenses before use if applicable
