Pidogrel Tablet 75 mg contains Clopidogrel Bisulphate, an antiplatelet medication used to reduce the risk of blood clots in patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. It helps prevent serious events such as heart attack, stroke, and peripheral arterial thrombosis by inhibiting platelet aggregation.
Clopidogrel is commonly prescribed to patients with a history of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), recent myocardial infarction (MI), recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It is also frequently used after coronary stent placement to prevent clot formation.

Pidogrel Tablet 75 mg is indicated for:
Prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with recent myocardial infarction
Recent ischemic stroke
Established peripheral arterial disease
Acute coronary syndrome (with or without ST-segment elevation)
Post–percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with stent placement.
The usual recommended dose is 75 mg once daily.
In acute coronary syndrome, an initial loading dose may be prescribed by a physician.

Take at the same time each day for optimal benefit.
Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your healthcare provider, as this may increase the risk of clotting.
Clopidogrel is a prodrug that, after metabolic activation in the liver, selectively inhibits the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets. This prevents platelet activation and aggregation, thereby reducing the formation of blood clots in arteries.
The antiplatelet effect is irreversible and lasts for the lifespan of the platelet (approximately 7–10 days).
