Composition

Indications

Rabivax-IG Injection is indicated for:

• Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) in severe rabies exposure
• Category III animal bites (deep bites, multiple wounds, or mucosal exposure)
• Bites from suspected or confirmed rabid animals
• Immediate passive immunization along with rabies vaccine
• High-risk wound management in rabies-endemic areas

Mechanism of Action

Rabies Immunoglobulin provides passive immunity by supplying pre-formed antibodies that neutralize the rabies virus at the site of entry. Dosage and Administration
