Pharmacology

Polyethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol work together to supplement the natural tear film and protect the ocular surface. These water-soluble polymers form a lubricating and moisturizing layer over the cornea and conjunctiva, helping to reduce tear evaporation and maintain tear film stability.
The preservative-free nature of Tearon PF minimizes the risk of ocular surface toxicity and irritation associated with repeated exposure to preservatives. This ensures better tolerability while providing effective hydration, comfort, and protection to dry and sensitive eyes.

Indications

Tearon PF Eye Drop 0.4% + 0.3% is indicated for:

• Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca)

• Temporary relief of burning, irritation, and foreign body sensation due to dryness

• Dry eye symptoms associated with prolonged digital screen use

• Ocular discomfort caused by environmental factors such as wind, smoke, dust, or air conditioning

• Patients requiring frequent use of artificial tears or those sensitive to preservatives

• Post-operative ocular dryness as advised by an ophthalmologist

Dosage and Administration

• Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by a physician.

• May be used several times daily depending on symptom severity.

Contraindications
