Vontac Tablet 10 mg contains Vonoprazan, a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) used to reduce excess stomach acid. Composition

Indications

Vontac Tablet is indicated for:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Erosive esophagitis
• Gastric and duodenal ulcers
• Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy (in combination with antibiotics)
• Hyperacidity and acid-related dyspepsia

Mechanism of Action

Vonoprazan competitively blocks potassium binding on the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the stomach lining. This results in strong and sustained suppression of gastric acid secretion, providing faster symptom relief and improved healing of acid-related damage.

Dosage and Administration

• Dose should be prescribed by a physician
