Indications

A-Fenac Plus IM Injection is indicated for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain and inflammation associated with:

• Acute musculoskeletal disorders

• Post-operative pain

• Post-traumatic pain

• Acute exacerbations of arthritis

• Renal and biliary colic

• Severe back pain and lumbago

• Acute painful conditions of bones and joints

It is intended for adult patients and should be used under medical supervision.

Pharmacology

After intramuscular administration, diclofenac is rapidly absorbed into systemic circulation, providing prompt analgesic effect. Diclofenac is highly protein-bound and extensively metabolized in the liver, with metabolites excreted mainly through urine. Lidocaine undergoes hepatic metabolism and is eliminated via the kidneys.

Mechanism of Action

Dosage and Administration
