Indications

Alercon DS Eye Drop 0.20% is indicated for the treatment and prevention of signs and symptoms associated with:

• Allergic conjunctivitis

• Redness and tearing of the eyes

Pharmacology

Olopatadine Hydrochloride is a selective histamine H1-receptor antagonist with mast cell stabilizing properties. Dosage and Administration

Alercon DS Eye Drop is intended for ophthalmic use only.

• The usual recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily or as prescribed by a physician

• Hands should be washed thoroughly before use

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination

• If multiple eye medications are used, maintain an interval of at least 5–10 minutes between applications

Contact lenses should be removed prior to instillation and may be reinserted after 15 minutes.
