Darota Tablet 300 mg contains Darolutamide, a non-steroidal androgen receptor inhibitor used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It is specifically indicated for patients with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) and may also be used in combination therapy for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) as prescribed.
Darolutamide works by blocking the effect of androgens (male hormones), which are responsible for the growth and progression of prostate cancer cells.

Mechanism of Action
Darolutamide selectively binds to androgen receptors and inhibits their activity. By blocking androgen receptor signaling, it prevents the stimulation of prostate cancer cell growth. Unlike some other androgen receptor inhibitors, Darolutamide has a lower penetration across the blood-brain barrier, which may reduce certain central nervous system side effects.
