Fintaz Capsule is a combination medicine containing Finasteride 5 mg and Tadalafil 5 mg. It is used in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and associated urinary symptoms, as well as improving sexual function in men with enlarged prostate-related erectile dysfunction.

Finasteride helps reduce prostate size over time, while Tadalafil improves blood flow and urinary flow symptoms, providing both long-term and symptomatic relief.

Therapeutic Uses

Fintaz Capsule is indicated for:

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to enlarged prostate
• Urinary hesitancy, weak stream, and frequent urination
• BPH-associated erectile dysfunction (ED)
• Improvement of overall urinary flow and bladder emptying

Mechanism of Action

• Finasteride: Inhibits 5-alpha reductase enzyme, reducing conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), leading to gradual reduction in prostate size
• Tadalafil: Inhibits phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), increasing nitric oxide-mediated smooth muscle relaxation and improving blood flow to the prostate and penile tissues

Together, they improve both urinary symptoms and sexual function.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual dose: 1 capsule daily or as prescribed by a physician
• Should be taken at the same time each day
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow whole with water
• Continuous use is required for optimal prostate improvement
• Do not stop abruptly without medical advice

Side Effects
