Indications

Fluclox Suspension is indicated for:

• Skin and soft tissue infections (cellulitis, boils, impetigo)
• Wound infections
• Bone and joint infections (osteomyelitis)
• Respiratory tract infections (tonsillitis, pneumonia)
• Ear infections (otitis media)
• Prophylaxis in surgeries with a risk of Staphylococcus infection

Dosage and Administration

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Dose is based on the child’s age and body weight:
  • Typical pediatric dose: 25–50 mg/kg/day divided into 3–4 doses.
• Measure doses accurately using a calibrated spoon or oral syringe.
• Can be taken with or without food, though administration after meals may reduce stomach upset.

Mechanism of Action
