Polyethylene Glycol 3350 – 13.125 g
Sodium Sulfate – 350.7 mg
Sodium Bicarbonate – 178.5 mg
Potassium Chloride – 46.6 mg
This combination works by drawing water into the intestines, softening the stool, and promoting regular bowel movements while maintaining electrolyte balance, making it effective and safe for both adults and children under supervision.

Laxogol Oral Solution works as an osmotic laxative:
Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (PEG 3350) retains water in the stool through osmosis, increasing stool volume and hydration, which stimulates bowel movement.
Electrolytes (sodium, potassium, bicarbonate) replace essential salts lost during bowel evacuation, preventing dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
This mechanism ensures rapid and effective relief from constipation and allows for complete bowel cleansing before colonoscopy, surgery, or radiologic procedures.
Laxogol Oral Solution is indicated for:
Acute and chronic constipation where conventional measures are insufficient
Bowel cleansing prior to diagnostic procedures, such as colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy
Preparation for surgical procedures requiring a clean bowel
Management of functional bowel disorders with slow transit
It is particularly useful for patients requiring thorough bowel evacuation without causing significant discomfort or electrolyte disturbances.
Adults: The usual dose is as prescribed by the physician, commonly ranging from 25 ml to several doses diluted in water, depending on the purpose (constipation relief vs. bowel preparation).
Children: Dosage must be calculated according to weight and age under medical supervision.
The solution is typically diluted in at least 125–250 ml of water per 25 ml dose to improve palatability and facilitate consumption.
For bowel preparation, the full prescribed dose may be taken in divided portions over several hours, as instructed by a healthcare provider.
Adequate hydration during treatment is essential.
Provides effective relief from constipation by softening stools and promoting natural bowel movements
Complete bowel cleansing for diagnostic and surgical procedures
Maintains electrolyte balance during bowel evacuation
Suitable for short-term and long-term use under medical supervision
Well-tolerated and generally free from harsh side effects compared to stimulant laxatives
Use cautiously in patients with intestinal obstruction, perforation, or severe inflammatory bowel disease
Patients with kidney or heart disorders should consult a physician before use due to electrolyte content
Do not exceed the prescribed dose to avoid diarrhea or dehydration
Seek medical advice if constipation persists for more than a week or if abdominal pain, blood in stools, or fever occurs
Common side effects may include:
Bloating or gas
Abdominal discomfort or cramps
Nausea
Rare but serious effects may include:
Severe diarrhea leading to dehydration
Electrolyte imbalance in patients with underlying kidney or heart conditions
Allergic reactions
Medical attention should be sought if severe dehydration, persistent abdominal pain, or unusual reactions occur.
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
