Nazolin 0.05% Nasal Spray contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride, a fast-acting topical nasal decongestant that provides effective relief from nasal blockage and congestion. It works by constricting dilated blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, thereby reducing swelling, improving airflow, and promoting sinus drainage. Due to its rapid onset and long duration of action, Nazolin is commonly used in both acute and chronic nasal conditions.

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride is an imidazoline derivative sympathomimetic amine. It acts directly on α-adrenoceptors without affecting β-adrenoceptors. When applied topically to the nasal mucosa, it produces rapid and prolonged vasoconstriction of arterioles. This reduces local blood flow, decreases mucosal edema, and relieves nasal obstruction. The result is improved nasal airway patency and enhanced drainage of the nasal sinuses.
