Indications

Parkinor Tablet is indicated for:

• Parkinson’s disease
• Parkinsonian syndrome (post-encephalitic or drug-induced)
• Tremors, rigidity, and bradykinesia associated with dopamine deficiency

Mechanism of Action

• Levodopa is a precursor of dopamine that crosses the blood-brain barrier and is converted into dopamine in the brain, restoring depleted neurotransmitter levels.
• Carbidopa inhibits peripheral decarboxylation of Levodopa, increasing its availability in the brain and reducing side effects such as nausea and cardiovascular reactions.

Together, they provide enhanced central nervous system dopamine activity and improved motor control.

Dosage and Administration
