Renash Tablet 60 mg contains Resmetirom, a selective thyroid hormone receptor beta (THR-β) agonist used in the management of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also referred to as metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH). It is designed to reduce liver fat accumulation, improve liver function, and slow disease progression in patients with fibrosis associated with fatty liver disease.

Composition

• Resmetirom 60 mg

Indications

Renash Tablet is indicated for:

• Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH/MASH) with fibrosis (F2–F3)
• Metabolic dysfunction–associated fatty liver disease (as prescribed)
• Liver fat reduction in patients with metabolic risk factors
• Adjunct therapy in patients with dyslipidemia associated with fatty liver disease

Mechanism of Action

Resmetirom selectively activates thyroid hormone receptor beta (THR-β), which is primarily expressed in the liver. This activation increases hepatic fat metabolism, enhances lipid clearance, and reduces liver fat accumulation. It also helps improve lipid profiles, including reduction of LDL cholesterol, while minimizing effects on heart and bone due to its receptor selectivity.

Dosage and Administration

• Usually taken once daily or as directed by a physician.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• Dosage is individualized based on liver condition and clinical response.
• Regular monitoring of liver function and lipid profile is recommended.
