Composition

Indications

Verivas Tablet is indicated for:

• Chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF)
• Patients with recent worsening heart failure events
• Reduction of risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure (as adjunct therapy)
• Add-on treatment in optimized heart failure management

Mechanism of Action

Vericiguat works by stimulating soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), an enzyme in the nitric oxide signaling pathway. This increases cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels, leading to vasodilation, reduced cardiac stress, and improved myocardial function. It helps enhance heart efficiency and reduce disease progression in heart failure patients.
