Composition

Each 2 ml vial contains:

Mechanism of Action

Vincristine Sulfate acts by binding to tubulin, a structural protein required for the formation of microtubules. Microtubules are essential for mitosis (cell division). By inhibiting microtubule formation, Vincristine arrests cancer cells in metaphase, preventing their replication and leading to cell death. This makes it highly effective in rapidly dividing cancer cells.

Indications

Criston Injection 2 mg/2 ml is indicated for the treatment of:

• Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
• Hodgkin’s lymphoma
• Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
• Wilms’ tumor
• Neuroblastoma
• Rhabdomyosarcoma
• Small cell lung cancer (in combination therapy)
• Other solid tumors as part of combination chemotherapy regimens

Dosage and Administration

• Must be administered only by intravenous (IV) route under strict medical supervision
• Intrathecal administration is strictly prohibited and fatal
• Dosage is based on body surface area, disease type, and chemotherapy protocol

Contraindications
