Criston Injection 2 mg/2 ml contains Vincristine Sulfate, a potent antineoplastic (chemotherapy) medication belonging to the vinca alkaloid class. It is widely used in the treatment of various cancers, particularly hematological malignancies and certain solid tumors. Criston Injection works by interfering with cancer cell division, thereby slowing or stopping tumor growth.

Composition
Each 2 ml vial contains:
Mechanism of Action
Vincristine Sulfate acts by binding to tubulin, a structural protein required for the formation of microtubules. Microtubules are essential for mitosis (cell division). By inhibiting microtubule formation, Vincristine arrests cancer cells in metaphase, preventing their replication and leading to cell death. This makes it highly effective in rapidly dividing cancer cells.
