Composition

Indications

Gatibac Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of:

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Corneal ulcers caused by susceptible organisms
• Blepharitis (eyelid infection)
• External ocular infections
• Post-operative bacterial infection prophylaxis (as prescribed)

Pharmacological Action

Gatifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by:

• Inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV

• Preventing bacterial cell growth and multiplication
