Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Empagliflozin 10 mg
• Linagliptin 5 mg

This combination provides effective control of both fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels.

Indications

Glyxam Tablet is indicated for:

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Patients inadequately controlled on monotherapy or diet and exercise alone
• Combination therapy with other antidiabetic agents (as prescribed)
• Glycemic control in adult diabetic patients requiring dual mechanism therapy

Pharmacological Action

This combination works through two complementary mechanisms:

• Empagliflozin: Inhibits SGLT2 in the kidneys, reducing glucose reabsorption and increasing urinary glucose excretion independently of insulin
