Composition

Each 10 ml vial contains:

• Iron Sucrose Complex equivalent to Elemental Iron 200 mg

This sterile intravenous formulation provides a controlled and effective source of iron for hematopoiesis.

Indications

Hemofer Injection is indicated for:

• Iron deficiency anemia in patients intolerant to oral iron
• Chronic kidney disease (CKD)-associated anemia
• Postpartum iron deficiency anemia
• Anemia in patients with gastrointestinal disorders affecting iron absorption
• Pre- and post-operative iron supplementation
• Patients requiring rapid iron replenishment under medical supervision

Pharmacological Action

Iron Sucrose works by:

• Providing bioavailable elemental iron for hemoglobin synthesis
• Replenishing depleted iron stores in bone marrow, liver, and spleen
• Supporting erythropoiesis (red blood cell production)
