How It Works

Hypromellose is a cellulose-based lubricant that mimics natural tears. It forms a protective film over the surface of the eye, reducing tear evaporation and increasing moisture retention. This helps relieve dryness and protects the eye from irritation and damage caused by insufficient lubrication.

Dosage & Administration

• Use exactly as prescribed by a registered physician.
• Usually, 1–2 drops are instilled into the affected eye(s) as needed or several times daily.
• Wash hands before use.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

Directions for Use

1. Wash hands thoroughly.
2. Tilt the head backward.
3. Pull down the lower eyelid gently.
4. Instill the prescribed number of drops.
5. Close the eyes gently for a few seconds.
6. Wipe away excess fluid if necessary.

If using other eye medications, maintain a gap of 5–10 minutes between applications.

Possible Side Effects
