Indications

Losart Plus is indicated for:

• Treatment of essential hypertension

• Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by Losartan or Hydrochlorothiazide alone

• Reduction of cardiovascular risk in hypertensive patients when appropriate

Pharmacology

Losartan Potassium selectively blocks the AT1 receptor, preventing the action of angiotensin II. This leads to:
