Anxiety associated with depression
Insomnia secondary to anxiety
Psychosomatic and functional disorders where anxiety is a prominent symptom

Bromazepam is a benzodiazepine that acts on the central nervous system by enhancing the inhibitory effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor. This action increases neuronal membrane permeability to chloride ions, resulting in hyperpolarization of nerve cells and reduced neuronal excitability. The overall effect is calming, anxiolytic, and sedative. Bromazepam is well absorbed after oral administration and is extensively metabolized in the liver, with metabolites excreted primarily via the kidneys.

The dosage of Nightus Tablet should be individualized according to the severity of symptoms and patient response.
The usual adult dose ranges from 1.5 mg to 3 mg, taken one to three times daily.
For insomnia related to anxiety, it is often taken at night before bedtime.
Elderly or debilitated patients should start at lower doses. Treatment duration should generally be short and should not exceed the period recommended by the physician.
Nightus Tablet is contraindicated in patients with:
Hypersensitivity to bromazepam or other benzodiazepines
Severe respiratory insufficiency
Severe hepatic impairment
Sleep apnea syndrome
Myasthenia gravis
Common side effects may include:
Drowsiness
Fatigue
Dizziness
Muscle weakness
Reduced alertness or impaired coordination
Prolonged use may lead to tolerance, dependence, or withdrawal symptoms upon abrupt discontinuation.
Caution is required in patients with respiratory disorders, liver or kidney disease, depression, or a history of substance abuse. Nightus Tablet may impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Abrupt cessation should be avoided; dose tapering is recommended to minimize withdrawal effects. Concomitant use with alcohol or other CNS depressants can enhance sedative effects and should be avoided.
Bromazepam may interact with other central nervous system depressants, including alcohol, opioids, antipsychotics, antidepressants, and sedative medications, leading to enhanced sedation and respiratory depression.
Nightus Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy due to potential risks to the fetus. Bromazepam may pass into breast milk; therefore, breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment unless clearly directed by a physician.
