Indications

Rosutin 40 mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

• Mixed dyslipidemia (Fredrickson Type IIa and IIb)

• Primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients at high risk due to conditions like diabetes, hypertension, or prior cardiovascular events

Pharmacology and Mode of Action

Rosutin 40 mg is a selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting HMG-CoA to mevalonate, a precursor of cholesterol. Its lipid-lowering effects occur via:

Contraindications
