Verivas Tablet 5 mg contains Vericiguat, a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator used in the management of chronic heart failure. It works by improving cardiac function and vascular relaxation through enhancement of the nitric oxide–cGMP signaling pathway. It is used in patients with chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction to reduce the risk of hospitalization and disease progression.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Vericiguat 5 mg

Indications

Verivas Tablet is indicated for:

• Chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF)
• Patients with recent worsening heart failure episodes
• Reduction of cardiovascular death and hospitalization risk (as adjunct therapy)
• Add-on treatment in optimized heart failure management

Mechanism of Action

Vericiguat stimulates soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), increasing cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels in vascular smooth muscle and myocardium. This results in vasodilation, reduced cardiac workload, improved myocardial efficiency, and overall better heart function in chronic heart failure patients.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage should be prescribed by a physician
• Usually initiated at a low dose and gradually titrated based on tolerance
• Taken once daily with food to improve absorption
• Regular use is recommended for optimal therapeutic effect
• Do not stop treatment without medical supervision

Precautions

• Use cautiously in patients with low blood pressure (hypotension)
