Vintelix Tablet 5 mg contains Vortioxetine Hydrobromide, a novel antidepressant with a multimodal mechanism of action. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults. Vintelix helps improve mood, emotional stability, and cognitive function associated with depression, making it a valuable option for long-term mental health management.
Vortioxetine is distinguished from conventional antidepressants by its combined action on serotonin receptors and serotonin reuptake inhibition. This dual activity contributes to effective symptom control while maintaining a favorable tolerability profile.

Antidepressant (Serotonin modulator and stimulator)
Vintelix Tablet 5 mg is indicated for:
Treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults
Management of depressive symptoms such as low mood, loss of interest, anxiety, and impaired concentration
Improvement of cognitive dysfunction associated with depression, including memory and executive function deficits
Vortioxetine acts as a serotonin reuptake inhibitor and simultaneously modulates multiple serotonin receptor subtypes. It inhibits the serotonin transporter, increasing serotonin levels in the central nervous system. Additionally, it functions as an agonist, partial agonist, or antagonist at various serotonin receptors, enhancing neurotransmission involved in mood regulation and cognition. This multimodal activity is believed to contribute to its antidepressant efficacy and beneficial effects on cognitive symptoms of depression.
