Indications

Zytix Tablet is indicated for:

• Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)
• Metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC)
• Advanced prostate cancer in patients receiving androgen deprivation therapy (ADT)
• Other prostate cancer conditions as determined by an oncologist

Mechanism of Action

Abiraterone Acetate is converted in the body to its active form, Abiraterone, which inhibits the enzyme CYP17. This enzyme is essential for androgen (testosterone) production. By blocking CYP17:

• Androgen production in the testes, adrenal glands, and tumor tissue is reduced
• Tumor growth driven by androgens is suppressed
• Disease progression is slowed in advanced prostate cancer

Dosage and Administration
