Indications

Radimet 850 mg is indicated for:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Patients inadequately controlled with diet and exercise

• Overweight or obese diabetic patients

• Combination therapy with:

  • Sulfonylureas

  • DPP-4 inhibitors

  • SGLT2 inhibitors

  • Insulin

  • Other oral antidiabetic agents

It may also be prescribed in certain cases of insulin resistance or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), as determined by a physician.

It is not indicated for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

Mechanism of Action
