Mechanism of Action

Rifaximin works by inhibiting bacterial RNA synthesis through binding to bacterial DNA-dependent RNA polymerase. Its actions include:

Indications

Rifax Tablet is indicated for:

• Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) (as prescribed)

Dosage and Administration
